Shawna Rengli

Assistant Executive Director

Hello, my name is Shawna Rengli and I have been working in Early Childhood Education since 2003.

After graduating with a BA from the Evergreen State College with an Emphasis in Poetry, Gender Studies and Education, I joined the Hutch Kids Team as a classroom teacher in July of 2005. During my time at Hutch Kids, I have worked as a classroom teacher on the infant, toddler, and preschool teams, a Team Leader, Program Coordinator, and most recently, Assistant Executive Director. I love Hutch Kids for many reasons, but most deeply for the child-centered, play- and interest-based curriculum and the amazing community between families and staff. I am passionate about the continued growth and development of Hutch Kids and upholding the excellent quality of care that we pride ourselves on.

In August of 2016 I completed my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.

In my spare time I love reading, primarily fiction and poetry; creative writing; swimming (fresh water is the best); basking in our precious sunshine; listening to music of all genres; taking new and exciting ECE trainings and college courses; and spending time with my family and friends.


Curriculum and Education Coordinator

My name is Tiara and I have been at Hutch Kids since August 2013. I graduated from Western Oregon University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in American Sign Language. I have been working with children from the ages of 2 to 14 for over seven years and have loved every moment. In the distant future (I am hoping within 10 years) I plan on opening my own preschool, however, until then I am looking forward to continuing my experience with kids. In August of 2016, I graduated with my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Oaks College.

Nicole Snow

Program Administrator

Hello, I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. I attended Washington State University and graduated in 2013 with a BA in Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I have worked at Hutch Kids since July 2014, I taught preschool/pre-k for 2 years and within the last year have moved into an administrative role.  I enjoy working with children of all ages and love helping children and watching them grow! In my spare time I enjoys traveling, going to the beach and rooting on the WSU Cougars and the Seattle Seahawks!


Audrey McMullin

Administrative Assistant

Hello my name is Audrey McMullin and I have been working as the Administrative Assistant at Hutch Kids since June of 2012. Prior to starting at Hutch Kids I taught and managed the youth program at a martial arts school in North Seattle for 5 years with children in pre-k through teens in high school. I was excited to start at Hutch Kids and learn more about early childhood development and interact with a much younger age group. I have enjoyed getting to know each child enrolled at Hutch Kids and assisting parents with any questions they may have. When I’m not at my desk you will probably find me visiting my friends in one of the infant or toddler classrooms. When I’m not at Hutch Kids, I am continuing to train in the martial arts, reading, playing with my niece, or spending time with my new husband.


Kitchen Coordinator

Hello, my name is Teresa. Originally from Northern California, I came to Washington 25 years ago and have worked in food manufacturing for 10-years. When my son’s daycare closed, my partner and I chose to open our own daycare, which led to a love for working with young children. I’ve been at Hutch Kids since 2010. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking; camping; and spending time with family.
