Administrative Staff

Shannon Nagy

Executive Director

I started in June 2018 and I am thrilled to be a member of the Hutch Kids community. For the past twenty years, I have been an early childhood professional with experiences in classroom teaching, program administration, adult education (teaching at the community college level) and professional presentations. I hold a Masters in Education in Early Childhood Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Hutch Kids is a unique child care, dedicated to serving the families of our partners, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, on their campus. It is this partnership and proximity that strengthens the relationships between staff and families and between children and parents. I am proud to be a part of this community and to join this dynamic staff of dedicated teachers and staff who everyday strive to do their best in supporting the children and families in their care by providing high quality care and educational experiences.

Shawna Rengli

Assistant Executive Director

Hello, my name is Shawna Rengli and I have been working in Early Childhood Education since 2003.

After graduating with a BA from the Evergreen State College with an Emphasis in Poetry, Gender Studies and Education, I joined the Hutch Kids Team as a classroom teacher in July of 2005. During my time at Hutch Kids, I have worked as a classroom teacher on the infant, toddler, and preschool teams, a Team Leader, Program Coordinator, and most recently, Assistant Executive Director. I love Hutch Kids for many reasons, but most deeply for the child-centered, play- and interest-based curriculum and the amazing community between families and staff. I am passionate about the continued growth and development of Hutch Kids and upholding the excellent quality of care that we pride ourselves on.

In August of 2016 I completed my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.

In my spare time I love reading, primarily fiction and poetry; creative writing; swimming (fresh water is the best); basking in our precious sunshine; listening to music of all genres; taking new and exciting ECE trainings and college courses; and spending time with my husband and baby and our extended family and friends.

Natasha Guerrero

Curriculum and Education Coordinator

Hello, my name is Natasha Guerrero and I have been in the early education field since 2009. I am born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam and relocated to Washington in 2013. I have taught infants to kindergarten and have been an education program coordinator. I am passionate about early education and the joy of bringing new experiences to lives of children and families. I have a BAS in Early Education from North Seattle College and currently in the M.Ed. Early Education Program at Eastern Washington University. On the weekends, you can find me on kayaking or hiking around a mountain. I also enjoy cheering on our local Seattle sports teams and playing volleyball. I look forward to fostering love of learning in the early years and joining Hutch Kids.

Audrey McMullin

HR and Business Coordinator

Hello my name is Audrey McMullin and I have been working at Hutch Kids since June of 2012. Prior to starting at Hutch Kids I taught and managed the youth program at a martial arts school in North Seattle for 5 years with children in pre-k through teens in high school. I was excited to start at Hutch Kids and learn more about early childhood development and interact with a much younger age group. I have enjoyed getting to know each child enrolled at Hutch Kids and assisting parents with any questions they may have. When I’m not at my desk you will probably find me visiting my friends in one of the infant or toddler classrooms. When I’m not at Hutch Kids, I am continuing to train in the martial arts, reading, playing with my niece, or spending time with my new husband.

Jahsmor Gaskins

Administrative Assistant

Born into the sounds of Puerto Rico’s lively musical heritage and diversity, Jahsmor brings his life experiences and enthusiasm to the great Pacific Northwest in hopes of contributing to the quality of life for the people that call the Cascades home. After graduating from high school, he pursued collegiate guitar studies with Chris Rollins at Lansing Community College, and would later be awarded a scholarship to attend the Hartt Conservatory and study classical guitar under Christopher Ladd and Richard Provost. On his free time he enjoys walking his dogs Rico and Atlas, and exploring all the nature the Cascades have to offer.

Teresa Roe

Kitchen Coordinator

Hello, my name is Teresa. Originally from Northern California, I came to Washington 25 years ago and have worked in food manufacturing for 10-years. When my son’s daycare closed, my partner and I chose to open our own daycare, which led to a love for working with young children. I’ve been at Hutch Kids since 2010. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking; camping; and spending time with family.
